A REFEREE threatened players with an AXE after they abused him for disallowing a goal.

Players scattered in panic as the wild-eyed official chased them screaming: “Who f***ing wants it?”

The unidentified ref saw red at a five-a-side soccer game between Romark FC and Czech Club at Woodhouse College, Finchley, North London.

A witness said: “All hell broke loose. The ref was like Conan the Barbarian. He was getting abuse from the Romark players and he abandoned the game. Then one cuffed his head.
