Waiting can be hard, especially when it's for season two of HBO's sexy, vampire romp, True Blood. On May 19 fans will be given two treats to help ease the pain of anticipation: The True Blood – Music From The HBO Original Series soundtrack and the DVD Collection of season one.
Those familiar with Sookie Stackhouse and vampire Bill know its soundtrack is a huge part of the overall mood. From the quirky yet sultry theme song “Bad Things” by Jace Everett to "Bleed Feed 2" by CC Adock (who wrote the song exclusively for the show), the tracks of the album will take you back to all the mystery and hijinx (not to mention steam) of season one. Available as a bonus track, “The Golden State” by John Doe will be featured during season two.
True Blood: The Complete First Season will also be released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 19 and can be picked up in all the usual outlets. The True Blood – Music From The HBO Original Series album will be available for pre-order from the Atlantic Records webstore and the HBO shop on April 21.
True Blood is based on the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. The second season of the series begins June 14. Learn more about True Blood at the HBO website.
