Planning on attending the American Idols Live tour this summer? Make sure your show wasn't canceled.

American Idols Live Tour Cancelling Multiple Tour Stops

In an unprecedented first, the season nine trek of the American Idols Live summer tour is canceling multiple stops, according to American Idol website.  Some may feel that this is not surprising due to the lackluster performances by the contestants this season.

A big issue with the Idol summer tour are the ticket prices. And it's not just this tour, ticket prices are a big issue for many tours this summer. On more than one occasion this summer, Live Nation has offered discounted seats as an attempt to make attending the tour more affordable.

In addition to the many cancellations, there have been several shows that were originally slated for September that now have been rescheduled earlier in July and August. The tour will now conclude on August 31 in Indianapolis, IN.

The Top 10 contestants on tour this summer are winner Lee DeWyze, Crystal Bowersox, Casey James, Michael Lynche, Aaron Kelly, Siobhan Magnus, Tim Urban, Katie Stevens, Andrew Garcia and Didi Benami.
