As the Irish Repertory Theatre's revival of 'On a Clear Day You Can See Forever' explores past-life regression, it beautifully, seamlessly renders the illusive with authenticity.

Watching and hearing this "live radio play" adaptation, we process a confluence of the past (1940s) and present (2017). The two run simultaneously, a visual and aural parallel which adds to the fun. I felt strangely part of an absurdist time warp as observer and participant.

The director and cast have wisely kept the slenderized production intimate and "close to the hearth," helped by handsome artistic design and fine musical direction. The character portrayals are down-to-earth and heartfelt amidst an energy and joyful vibrance that is contagious and encourages us to soar spiritually.

The evening was an absolute delight.
