Rick Springfield’s Music – Written In Rock

When I heard this collection of Rick Springfield songs, Written in Rock, was coming out this spring, I was excited, for the most part, to get the sneak peak at the upcoming CD The Day After Yesterday.

That aforementioned song, “For No One” a remake of the Beatles song, is very powerful and the perfect ending to this double album that begins with his early remake of “Eleanor Rigby”.

Upon purchasing it and listening to it, I was thrilled. All the wonderful songs that carried me through my teenage years right up on through today were there, remastered for impeccable sound, and accompanied with a color booklet containing photos, and liner notes on every song’s history and memories, penned by Rick Springfield himself.

For any fan of eighties music this CD is a must have.
