Okay, we’ve gone and done it: Politics – beloved, behated, the source of most of the site’s roiling debate and confrontation, now has its own category. Whether you head straight for it or avoid it like the plague, it now stands alone.

One of the most interesting and unique aspects of Blogcritics is that as a site we don’t take sides. Our writers speak for themselves, and they do so from every point on the mainstream political spectrum – we do not wish to provide a forum for hate mongers from any direction, but beyond that, this is one place you can go to hear left, right and center present themselves and duke it out in the marketplace of ideas.
