No, I’m not talking about the elections: I’m talking about a cool online survey comparing CD and digital music download usage:
- This is the first page of a questionnaire designed by Aram Sinnreich, a doctoral student at the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California. I am fielding a survey as part of a study written for a class in research methodologies.
The purpose of this study is to observe and compare the ways in which people use CDs and digital music downloads. If you are currently a user of either CDs, downloads, or both, and are 18 or older, you are eligible to complete this questionnaire.
Although you will not be compensated for participating, your contribution will be appreciated because this study will add to our understanding of how music and media are evolving in our society.
This questionnaire should take about five to 10 minutes to complete.
If you have any questions or concerns about the research, you will have an opportunity afterwards to learn more about it and to see the results. If you are eligible and would like to participate in the survey, please read the following information and click the button at the bottom of the page to acknowledge your consent.
Thank you.
So do your part, make this musical world a better place.
