Buried deep under a mountain of presentation issues and performance flaws, 'Risen 3: Titan Lords' is actually a pretty fun and deep pirated-themed RPG.

Nice visual elements show promise, but on the strength of this demo the game seems generic and lacking in the needed scares or thrills.

If you loved either of these games on the Playstation 2, you will probably love them even more in HD, but the classic JRPG game mechanics might be too much for some modern gamers.

There is much fun to be had here, even if there isn't a manual.
