Bandai Namco let us go hands-on with a few of their upcoming titles and oh man, Dark Souls III is coming.

I was a Dungeon Master before being a Dungeon Master was cool. When I saw that n-Space was developing a video game with a Dungeon Master Mode set in a Dungeons and Dragons universe, I had to check it out.

When I thought about attending the Electronic Entertainment Exposition – E3 – held at the Los Angeles Convention Center June 16-18, I wanted to find games about building things up, not just games about blowing things up. When my daughter was young, we would stay up all night sometimes playing Sim City. No shooting or hand grenades were involved. That’s the kind of game I was looking for. I found two good examples distributed by the German company Daedalic Entertainment: 'Bounty Train' and 'Valhalla Hills'. Both titles are still in development but look promising.

As I was interviewing the 3 Queens of 3 Queens Media, a young man ran up and interrupted us. “Hey,” he yelled, “You’re all gonna be famous. Kanye just took your picture!” Kanye West, whom I’m told is somehow related to the Kardashians, was in attendance at E3. I’m still waiting for the fame to hit.

With so many variables, the 4X strategy game, 'Galactic Civilization' III is never the same game twice, and what the game lacks in polish, is made up for with surprising depth.

For the most part, Visceral Games has successfully taken the Battlefield franchise into new territory, but just like Battlefield 4, Hardline suffers from some serious technical issues.

Gearheads should enjoy Project CARS. By racing fans and for racing fans, despite having room to grow, it's a commendable effort by veteran racing developers and the community that helped to build it.

'We Happy Few' is one of the best and most intriguing games I had a chance to try at PAX East, and I am looking forward to the full release whenever it is ready.

Everything about this title oozes charm and personality and, after meeting the developers, it is clear why; they are passionate about this game and world and really want to deliver something special.

'Dreadnought' with its ship-to-ship battles is already a terrific experience and it is obvious the developer Yager is passionate about this project and aims to deliver a top-notch experience.
