It's a joyous time of year – the new television season is upon us. Before we know it, we're going to be inundated by heroes, solving crimes by electrocuting pickles, and getting lost (okay, fine, we won't get lost for a ways yet, but you get the idea). Frankly, it makes me feel as though we're all part of a brother- and sister-hood, or, a community, if you will.
Hey, speaking of community, did you know that one of the new shows on NBC's Thursday night lineup is called Community? Well, it is, it's called Community, it takes place at Greendale Community College (hence the calling it Community) and it stars folks like Joel McHale, Chevy Chase, and Yvette Nicole Brown. Did you know that I was hired as an adjunct at a community college at one point (no, not Greendale). Yup, I was.
I digressed again, didn't I? Not my community college experience, the Greendale Community College experience, an experience we're going to get familiar with starting September 17 at 9:30pm on NBC.
Of course, as Bed, Bath & Beyond would tell you, you can't go off to college without stuff, lots and lots of stuff. Trust me, BB&B push the stuff – there's even a checklist you can get with all the stuff you need to buy.
I don't know exactly what's on their list, but I could absolutely see a cooler, beer stein, pencil, magnet, water bottle, and keychain bottle opener on their list. Why wouldn't they be?
Well, here's what I do know, whether those things are on the BB&B list or not, we hear at Blogcritics are going to be giving away all that great stuff. We've got three prize packs each of which has the aforementioned cooler, beer stein, pencil, magnet, water bottle, and keychain bottle opener (see the picture on the right?) and we're going to be giving them away.
