nasig2009

The North American Serials Interest Group is an international organization that is working to create dialog among all participants in the serials industry. The organization includes librarians, publishers, and everyone else involved in the process of generating and managing scholarly communication through serial publications. NASIG holds annual conferences featuring speakers and topics that are on the cutting edge of scholarly communication.

Many of the attendees report on the events of the conferences, often including an identifying tag (nasig + year) in order to collect all of the content together. The nasig2009 tag was used on posts, photos, and other social media content for the 2009 conference held in Asheville (NC) featuring keynote speakers Peter Morville, Carol Tenopir, and Geoffrey Bilder.
