From San Jose to Santiago, Spain, you're about to witness the legendary E Street Band!

Bruce Springsteen Announces 2009 Working On A Dream World Tour Dates

Come to me, my babies, let me quell your pain! It's no April Fool's Day joke, my children. Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will kick off their 2009 Working On A Dream World Tour in San Jose, California on April 1.

Let's go ahead and end the suspense now. Yes. Yes, he's playing Atlanta. Yes. Yes, I'm going to try and score a pair of tickets to take TheWifeToWhomI'mMarried to go see the show.

Enough about me, let's get back to the details you need to know. Ticketmaster currently has three or four of the shows posted on their website and it looks as though tickets will be sold on a tiered pricing structure. One venue (San Jose) showed tickets ranging from $38.50-$95 while another show had a range of $68-$95.

All US dates go on sale Monday, February 2, the day after Bruce and the band play the halftime show of Super Bowl XLIII.

The tour opens in the western US, a departure from the Magic World Tour. The US leg runs from April 1 in San Jose and ends with a two-night stand in New Jersey (of course! Where else?). The band then heads overseas and will play Europe from June 2 through August 2. After that it's anyone's guess.

Springsteen's latest record with the E Street Band, Working On A Dream, is in stores today.
