Multimedia treats from every end of the musical spectrum...

BC Music Goodie Bag: Norah Jones, Peter Bjorn & John, Nick Moss & The Flip Tops

It’s time to clean out the closets of all the multimedia goodness that’s been clogging my inbox and share it with you, the fair citizens of Blogcritics. We’ve got some very cool stuff to send your way so take a moment and share in the bounty.

First up: Norah Jones. I feel like we should queue an angelic choir when we speak of Norah Jones. While we ponder that, why don’t you check out the first single from her upcoming album? We told you about The Fall, arriving in stores on November 17. Now you can hear the first single from it, “Chasing Pirates.” I’ve never understood that whole “National Speak Like A Pirate Day” thing that seems to crop up. I don’t get it. However, if Norah Jones wants to talk like a pirate, you have my attention. Better yet if she wants to chase people who talk like pirates, make mine a double “Ahoy.” Check out “Chasing Pirates.”

Moving on, we’ve got a new video from Peter Bjorn and John. It’s the video for the title track from their new album Living Thing.

Last, but certainly not least we have Nick Moss & The Flip Tops. One of the top Chicago blues bands in all the land has their own channel over at YouTube and we’re pleased to hip you to one of the latest videos from there. Sitting in with Nick is Jason Ricci, another name you ought to know. Check this out and get yourself acquainted. Once you’ve fallen deeply in love with them, you’ll want to check them out over at ReverbNation where you can stream more of their songs.
