Grab the wheel and head out in a kart with those krazy kreatures from Madagascar.

Screenshots: Madagascar Kartz

Those crazy animals of Madagascar are coming back… again.  No, not in a new movie (although there is one in the works), they're actually coming back with a brand-new kart racing game.  Entitled, oddly enough, Madagascar Kartz, the game will be available for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 (sorry PSP peeps!).  The courses are – at least partially – based on the films, having locales such as the New York City Zoo and the plane crash site.  And, of course, as it's a kart game you can expect power ups of all types.

So, while on October 27 you'll be able to drive a kart krazy-style as either Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman, King Julien, or the penguins, right now you'll just have to content yourselves with some screenshots from the Wii version (which can be purchased with or without a wheel).

Madagascar Kartz will be available on October 27, 2009.  Blogcritics will bring more news of the game as it comes in.
