‘On the Record with Mick Rock’: Legendary Music Photographer Talks Beatles and Bowie as OvationTV Show Debuts August 2

On the Record with Mick Rock OvationTVRock and roll photographer Mick Rock has captured iconic images of the biggest music stars in the world for decades. With several books including Psychedelic Renegades and Glam! An Eyewitness Account, album covers, and many exhibitions behind him, he’s embarking on a new TV venture. On the Record with Mick Rock debuts on OvationTV this Sunday, August 2.

In the show Rock visits the hometowns of an eclectic assortment of top-tier musicians from different eras. His conversations with Josh Groban, Patti LaBelle, Kings of Leon, and The Flaming Lips reveal some of what’s behind the lives and works of these artists – record releases, tours, album covers.

In the following video clips Mick Rock talks about some of the greats whom he’s had the honor of meeting and capturing on camera. Today’s it’s The Beatles and David Bowie. Tomorrow he returns with some observations on Snoop Dogg and some of today’s big-name artists.

On The Record With Mick Rock premieres Sunday, August 2nd at 8pm ET on OvationTV.
