Join Blogcritics for a Once Upon a Time Season Premiere After Party

Join Blogcritics for an After Party following the Once Upon a Time season two premiere, “Broken.” As we last left our favorite fairytale characters, the Evil Queen’s (Lana Parrilla) curse had been lifted by the most powerful magic. But soon thereafter, Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle), now in possession of a last remaining vial of a potion that can “restore things that are lost,” brings an entirely new challenge to the fair folk of Storybrooke, Maine.

The potion, sending a purple haze across the town, has brought magic into our “real” world. What consequences will the magic bring? Will Rumple use it for good or evil (or, more likely, his own agenda, which could have something to do with recovering his son)? I’ve seen “Broken,” and I can tell you it’s a great start to season two. I’ve also spoken with Lana Parrilla and genre televison writer extrordinaire Jane Espenson (interview will be posted shortly) about season two (among other things). So while you’re anticipating the premiere, please do have a read.

And don’t forget, tomorrow is the final day of the U.K. Once Upon a Time fan site charity auction. There are some very exciting items (including the orignal “chipped cup” generously donated by Robert Carlyle himself). The auction benefits With Kids Glasgow, a charity that means a great deal to the Once star.

The After Party will take place for one hour after each of the airings tomorrow night. The first will start at 9:00 p.m. ET and the second at 9:00 p.m. PT. Feel free to drop by during at either (or both). I will leave the chat room open as well during the episode as well if you want to chat during commercial breaks (or before the episode airs, to speculate). Let your friends know we’re here on Twitter, Facebook and your favorite fan forum. The more the merrier. Follow me on Twitter for updates on Once Upon a Time and more.
