Corinne Bailey Rae has announced North American tour dates in support of her critically acclaimed sophomore effort The Sea.
Rae will begin her tour with a stop in Vancouver, Canada and will work her way from west to east, hitting Seattle and Portland before finishing in Baltimore in mid May. Rae has also lined up appearances on late night TV, performing for David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel in March and has already appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show as well as The Today Show.
The British soul singer took the world by storm with her 2006 Grammy-nominated debut. During the recording of The Sea, her husband died of an accidental overdose, and that experience haunts and informs several of the songs on the album, including the album's first single "I'd Do It All Again."
