Fans of the Who-niverse, rejoice! Today, you time traveling TARDISians will get to see something new, something wondrous, something amazing, something all sci-fi related… that is, you will if you like Doctor Who, because if you don't like Doctor Who you're not going to click play on the embedded video below and are therefore going to miss out on the thing entirely (but then again, if you don't like Doctor Who you're not really a fan of the Who-niverse, now are you?) .
Seriously though, those kind folks over at BBC America, at 9:30am EDT today, released a brand new, minute long, preview clip of the upcoming season of Doctor Who. As you may already be aware, Matt Smith will be playing the new incarnation of The Doctor this season and he'll be travelling the universe (you know, through space and time in the TARDIS) with Amelia "Amy" Pond, played by Karen Gillan. As for the clip itself, it features baddies, goodies, and serious special effects (especially when you consider Doctor Who's roots). Gander away.
The new season of Doctor Who premieres April 17th at 9:00pm on BBC America. Back your bags, and don't worry if you travel heavy, it may look small, but the TARDIS is bigger on the inside.
