Koko Dozo is giving earthling fans a chance to win their new EP Feel the Zuzz by way of their newsletter: Space Alien Nation.
All participants need to do to be eligible is follow the link to the newsletter, download the "Spaceman" track, and get creative. Koko Dozo wants you to play producer and remix the track. Aside from a free copy of the EP, the big winner will also have their track featured on Koko Dozo's MySpace profile page and serve as spokesman in an upcoming advertisement.
Recently, I reviewed Feel the Zuzz and described the "Spaceman" track: "From the opening rhythms of 'Spaceman,' the listener knows they're in for something completely different than the normal dance/electronica fare. A hybrid cross of something basic and primal, yet sleek and shiny, it's sure to fill the dance floor of any club it's played at."
Polarity/1 and Amy Douglas make up the duo Koko Dozo. She lends her amazing, four-and-a-half octave voice as well as playing the piano and songwriting input. Polarity/1 is the mulit-instrumental mastermind who also produces Feel the Zuzz.
