One of the great things about the PAX East ecosystem is that developers and the community itself organize tons of events for chances to let loose and have some fun.

I sat with Outerloop Games and found their soon-to-be-released PS4 and PSVR game Falcon Age is quite cool and unique.

The depth and breadth of the event and the strength and inclusivity of the community of developers, enforcers and fans make make PAX East (and all the PAX shows) incredibly unique and well worth experiencing again and again.

The characters are wacky and original, the music is infectious and really adds to the depth of the gameplay, and the visuals are simply striking.

The levels are incredibly rich now, with a ton of environmental additions that enhance the immersiveness of the racing experience.

'Far Cry New Dawn' was truly enjoyable for me once I embraced it as a silly popcorn-style action experience. The mechanics are proven and amazing, and the new and expanded features are truly fun; they actually made a post-apocalyptic world look beautiful and fun to explore.

Well EA and Bioware sure made it tough to enjoy 'Anthem' on their first Demo weekend – labelled as a VIP demo.

The original 'Wintermute' chapters were poorly received, described as a slog to get through. Thankfully I never had that experience. Instead I was able to play the Redux versions of Chapters One and Two, and was blown away by the experience.

Batman's mortality and organic relationship with Gotham City make him a more tangible and real character; without Gotham there is no Batman and vice versa.
