We take a look at screenshots of the Wii version of the new Prince of Persia game.

Screenshots: Prince of Persia – The Forgotten Sands on the Nintendo Wii

A while back we brought you three pics of the next Prince of Persia game, Prince of Persia – The Forgotten Sands.  Today we bring you two more, and not just any two, two that are from the Nintendo Wii version of the game.  The game is, of course, going to come out on every current-generation platform, but the Wii version will – as you may have surmised – will have a motion-sensing component (that is, after all, what the Nintendo Wii does, right?).

Now, before you grumble and grouse, Ubisoft reports that the game is going to be built from the ground-up for the system which, hopefully means, that the motion-sensing stuff won't be horrific last second add-ons that do nothing but make you feel as though you've been ill-used.  They're also – again as you may have guessed – promising that the graphics will be to the best of the Wii's ability.  Without seeing the actual game we won't say whether that's true, but these two screenshots do look pretty good.  Hopefully the rest of the game looks as good.

Prince of Persia – The Forgotten Sands is due out on May 18, 2010.  Stay with Blogcritics Gaming for more info as it becomes available.

'Far Cry New Dawn' was truly enjoyable for me once I embraced it as a silly popcorn-style action experience. The mechanics are proven and amazing, and the new and expanded features are truly fun; they actually made a post-apocalyptic world look beautiful and fun to explore.
