Oasis Announce New Single

“Let There Be Love” will be the third (and possibly final) single from Oasis’ chart-topping album Don’t Believe the Truth according to a release on the band’s web site.

The first two singles from Don’t Believe the Truth both topped British charts (“Lyla” and “The Importance of Being Idle”). The single will be released on CD, Vinyl, and DVD. The vinyl and CD version of the single will include a previously unreleased “Sittin’ Here in Silence (On My Own).”

In a previously published interview, Noel Gallagher indicated Oasis’ next single might be a standalone single which is something they have not done since “Whatever” in 1994.

The single will be released November 28, 2005.
