New Trailers Debut at Comic-Con for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For; Kingman: The Secret Service; and Mad Max: Fury Road

After nine years, audiences will be returning to Sin City in August thanks to co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.  Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is based on Miller’s book of the same name, his short story “Just Another Saturday Night,” and two original stories he created for the film.

Blending actors reprising their roles from the original film with new blood, the cast stars Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Josh Brolin, Powers Boothe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Eva Green, Dennis Haysbert, Martin Csokas, Rosario Dawson, Jamie Chung, Jamie King, Alexa Vega, Julia Garner, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Christopher Lloyd, Stacy Keach, and Jude Ciccolella.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For in theaters August 22, 2014.

Director Matthew Vaughn passed up the opportunity to make X-Men: Days of Future Past, the sequel to his X-Men: First Class, and instead chose Kingsman: The Secret Service, which is based on Icon Comics’The Secret Service created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar.  Vaughn previously adapted Millar’s Kick-Ass

The film tells the a story of veteran secret agent (Colin Firth) who leads a young protege (Taron Egerton) into the world of espionage, and co-stars Mark Hamill, Samuel L. Jackson, and Michael Caine.

Kingsman: The Secret Service in theaters on October 24, 2014.

After 30 years, George Miller’s post-apocalyptic franchise returns to the big screens with its fourth installment, Fury Road. Tom Hardy has taken over for Mel Gibson in the role of Max. Fans might not have to wait as long for the follow-up as they are supposed to go straight into production on .
