Under terms of the deal, NBC, which is owned by General Electric Co., would swap its 16 percent stake in Cablevision and an unspecified amount of GE shares for Cablevision’s 80 percent stake in Bravo, which focuses on arts programming, including shows like “Inside The Actor’s Studio,” and movies.
NBC will also pay $250 million in cash to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. for its 20 percent stake in Bravo in the channel.
