Five will win artwork, all get to hear the brand new single from Kiss Kiss.

Kiss Kiss Gives Readers MP3 and Artwork

Kiss Kiss, the self-proclaimed spazzy, yet artsy, indie band from NYC is releasing their sophomore album, The Meek Shall Inherit What’s Left tomorrow, July 7, on the Eyeball Records Label. To celebrate, they are allowing Blogcritics Music to share a special stream of the song "Innocent I" with all of our readers.

It seems aside from his songwriting, musical, and vocal talents, Benash is quite the artist (See a sample of his work right.) and he is providing a very special piece of his artwork to five of our readers as a grand prize. (Rules and entry form at the end of this article).

In addition to the new album, the band will also be launching a tour. The dates can be found below. Of the tour, vocalist/keyboardist Josh Benash says, "We are all very proud of our new record and cannot wait to play it live for the first time. Our goal with live performances is to create an atmosphere of cathartic energy, so bring something you'd like to break. See you all on the road."

Benash wrote The Meek Shall… during a dark period in his life. He was battling depression over a vocal polyp and a vocal node that could have put an end to his singing career. Unable to speak at the time, he locked himself up with just his piano, writing the new material and later conveyed his thoughts to his bandmates via miming and a blackboard. When the time came to move forward, the album was recorded in a dreary cabin sans heat and running water, under the direction of Dan Goodwin (Norah Jones).

Was it all worth the wait? Well, that's something only the fans can decide. To help, Kiss Kiss is allowing us to give you this special sneak peak of the single, "Innocent I (The Corruption Of Self Through The Introduction Of Naturally Existing Self Producing Chemicals)," seen below:
