joe jonas

Joe Jonas, born August 15, 1989, is one third of The Jonas Brothers, whose music is directed at the teen set. He shares lead vocal duties with his brother Nick and occasionally plays guitar and tambourine. His third brother Kevin rounds out the group, which has a wholesome image – a product of their upbringing.

Their first album, It's About Time debuted August 8, 2006, but they were dropped from Columbia Records the following year. In 2007 they signed with Hollywood Records and soon after released a self-titled album that quickly climbed the charts, peaking at number five. Their third album, A Little Bit Longer, released in August of 2008 topped the charts just three weeks after release.

In 2008, the buzz at the Video Music awards and the blogosphere, however, was their purity rings. Joe Jonas and his brothers have been vocal about the jewelry and its representation of their promise to abstain from premarital sex.

Joe Jonas also played Shane Gray In the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock. He sang two songs: "Gotta Find You" and "This Is Me," a duet with Demi Lovato.
