horses

Horses are scientifically described as Equus caballus, being one of the eight surviving species of the family Equidae. They were first domesticated by humans some time between 4,500BC and 2,000BC, probably in a number of places across Eurasia.

Most horses now living in the wild are descended from these, although one variety, Przewalksi's wild horse, now again roams in its native Mongolian habitat.

Bloggers write about their experiences as trainers of horses, as riders and drivers of horses in competition and for pleasure, about their regrets about not having a horse, and enjoy taking photos of them. They also enjoy watching Olympic and other international competitions.
