The Adobe Report: Adobe Spark – September 2017 Release

Adobe Spark with premium features is here. Spark is an integrated web and mobile application that gives you the ability to create visual stories that are both entertaining and impactful. I have written about it in the past, but always on Adobe’s beta product. Now there is an official release.

With Spark you can share branded stories in three Spark formats: webpages, video, and graphics. It now has premium features for those who have Creative Cloud plans. You can also get it as a standalone product on the Spark website or using the Spark Apps: Spark Page, Spark Video, and Spark Post.

What really works for me about Adobe Spark is that it makes it easy for non-web professionals to independently create promotional pages or presentations. Spark with premium features can help you tell your story by providing the templates and layouts so you can create your presentation quickly and easily.

You get six matching customizable themes for Spark Video and Spark Post. You also get Spark surfaces in which you can place your logo and create calls to action. You get headers and footers as well as video stamps and a Video outro. These can all be generated from your branded assets.

What’s great is that you can work with the free version of Adobe Spark to learn how it can make your branding and presentations better all by itself. Then when you’re ready, you can upgrade to the premium version either through one of the Creative Cloud plans, for $9.99/month with no annual commitment, or $99.99 per year.

To me, Adobe Spark is easy to use and, well, kind of addicting. It allows you to communicate to your friends and followers what you are doing without having to be tied to your desk. You can create a new video on your phone and post it in 10 minutes or less. You can build your brand to generate buzz and sales. That’s part of why Adobe’s Creative Cloud is so valuable.
