Our good friend with the long horns Cindy Chaffin informs us of a good show for a great cause this Saturday, December 7, in at the Barley House in Dallas:

    3:00 PM until 10:00 PM
    Proceeds from this Celebration of Life Benefit will go directly to the Amy McClure-Pomykal for her fight against brain cancer.

    Amy grew up in Ovilla, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University where she was an active member of the Chi Omega Sorority and threw the javelin for the track team. After graduating in 1996 Amy backpacked across Europe and taught Outdoor Living Skills in Estes Park, Colorado. In 1999 Amy married her longtime best friend Tim and was also crowned Mrs. Dallas County in 2002! Amy is a flight attendant for American Airlines based out of DFW Airport.

    Amy was diagnosed with brain cancer in April 2002 and continues to fight today, encouraged by a faithful resolve to win the battle. You can learn more about Amy at .
