Anxious to learn what’s brewing up for the next season of HBO’s wildly popular high fantasy series Game of Thrones? Can’t wait until March to get your next taste?
For the past three years, HBO has launched a new craft beer in honor of it’s hit series (based on the books by George R.R. Martin). So, HBO has invited fans to help name the next official Game of Thrones inspired beer.
The brews, produced in limited supply each year have included the sold-out production run of Throne Blonde Ale and Take the Black Stout. The third beer, to be introduced at the end of March is called Fire and Blood.
HBO Global Licensing and Brewery Ommegang are inviting fans of the beers and the series to “help decide the name and style of the fourth beer in the series to launch fall of 2014,” according to HBO.
All you need to do is log onto the Game of Thrones Facebook page and choose which of these four options appeal:Â
Valar Morghulis:Â An Old Valyrian saying associated with the desire for vengeance. This Belgian-style Dubbel would embody the sweetness of revenge and the dire consequences that accompany it
Hand of the King:Â Rich and dark, this complex Quadrupel brew is the ideal companion for all the heavy burden of ruling the Seven Kingdoms: waging war, brokering peace, enduring a Small Council meeting.
Seven Kingdoms – Â The absolute pinnacle of Belgian brewing achievement, this golden Tripel is perfect to embody the legacy of the Seven Kingdoms. Drinkable, yet with a spicy character, this Tripel represents the sordid history of Westeros.
Khal – This Belgian-style Quadupel, is supremely strong and impossibly bold like the greatest of the Khalisars of Essos. Â
Voting is only open for 2 days. According to HBO, “The selection with the most votes along with the artwork for the label, will officially be announced in the spring.”  Â
