Ground Zero for Ground Zero

I have never been able to get my head around architecture: sure I like nice buildings and I am fairly interested in interior design, but the actual work of summoning buildings forth from the mind has never been something I have much understood.

So that’s my excuse why I have bagged out of the whole Ground Zero design/rebuild story. But now a design has been chosen, and, besides being THE ace arts and entertainment blogger, Jan Herman has been covering Ground Zero for MSNBC all along. Go to his site to check out details on the winning design, reader feedback, last-minute politicking and the like.
