Watch the movie live with director McG.

First Ever Audio-Enabled Live Community Screening of Terminator Salvation

The Blu-ray edition of Terminator Salvation was released by Warner Bros. on December 1st. To celebrate the release, fans that own a BD-Live capable Blu-ray disc player will have the opportunity to watch the movie live with director McG, who will participate in an interactive Q&A session with fans. This event will take place on December 5th at 6:00 pm (PST), broadcasting from Los Angeles.

The Blogcritics who reviewed the latest in the Terminator franchise were nearly unanimous in their displeasure with the way the film turned out, and they’re not the only critics of the film. In his review, Arlo J. Wiley wrote, “It is true that with Terminator Salvation, the fourth entry in the venerable Terminator franchise, McG tries to do something a little different. Where his old films were flashy and stupid, here he’s learned to bleak up his color palette so that this one is instead gritty and stupid. I suspect that this is as much growth as McG is capable of experiencing as a filmmaker.” Perhaps this event will be a chance for McG to explain himself to the upset fanboys.

Members of the Warner Bros. BD-Live community who registered and signed up for the Terminator Salvation Live Community Screening will receive an emailed invitation to participate in the event, but only the first 100,000 who RSVP will be allowed to participate.

BD-Live is only accessible through a BD-Live enabled Blu-ray disc played on an Internet-connected Blu-ray player (including PlayStation 3) with BD-Live capabilities and sufficient data storage. Please consult your player manual or player support website for more information.
