Pixar Animation’s 20th film, the animated action adventure film 'Incredibles 2,' is a great family adventure (3 stars) with impressive visuals and action sequences with minor language, social commentary, and character development shortcomings.

Less is more as this 3-star crime caper continues a quality series thanks to expert filmmaking and a stellar cast featuring Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean, expert con artist and estranged sister of Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney in Steven Soderbergh’s previous film trilogy, which was inspired by the 1960 film starring the “Brat Pack.”  

The second installment in the Star Wars anthology series is an enjoyable (3 stars out of four) 135-minute ride as Han Solo's origin story, helmed by director Ron Howard, stays close to the popular Star Wars formula as famous characters fill the screen and action sequences thrill audiences.

An interesting roster of films this day.

'Thor: Ragnarok' gives the Marvel franchise a breath of fresh air. Featuring spectacular video and great audio, the 4K presentation is the best way to view.

'Terminator 2' in 4K may not be the be-all-end-all transfer, but it's a very good upgrade nonetheless.

Göransson drew upon the International Library of African Music (ILAM) for his impressive 135-minute, 28-track musical score. It features a 132-piece western classical orchestra, African percussionists, and a 40-person choir.

'Get Out' (3.5 stars) genuinely surprises today’s dynamic and demanding movie audiences. Visual effects, music, cinematography, editing, and set design elevate this thriller to a very high level. Free President's Day show on Monday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. (55 theaters).

This is not your father's 'Star Wars' movie, but it's yours if you let it be.

Highly recommended, but be aware if you are considering taking younger children to see the film that it earns its PG-13 rating for violence and some scenes that may be emotionally upsetting.
