Counting Down to ‘The X-Files’ Premiere with FOX

Although, sadly, The X-Files team will not be descending on San Diego Comic-Con later this week, the folks at Fox have given fans a brand new sneak-peek to whet appetites for the premiere of the series return. The series aired a total of 201 episodes over its many-years long run on Fox, and now, with 201 days to go ’till the premiere, we can share with you all a new preview:

The next chapter of The X-Files is slated to begin January 24, 2016–in 201 days–with a six-episode “event series” bringing together Mulder (David Duchovny), Scully (Gillian Anderson), and series creator Chris Carter. Leading up to the premiere, Fox will be exploring each episode in order, and providing fans with “daily GIFS, content from the original series run, and some never-before-seen surprises,” according to Fox.
