If you are writing about China you may be referring to the People's Republic of China, the giant East Asian state that has the world's largest population, or the Republic of China, the small island state whose capital is Taiwan.

Bloggers writing about the People's Republic of China are likely to be focusing on the country's politics, its international relations or human rights issues, or its traditional culture, which stretches more or less continuously back thousands of years.

Or they might be talking about travel there, or sharing photos from their trip.

Alternatively, they might be using another name for porcelain.
