Win a Nano, or at the very least try to win one!

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a SOAPnet Giveaway

I am not one of those Valentine's Day people. I've said as much before and I'll certainly say it again at some point in the future (maybe not for this V-Day, but certainly for the next one). I was, however, at one time a fan of General Hospital. I'm not sure that I was ever a fan during Valentine's Day though, so I don't really remember what they do for it, but it's probably something pretty special, especially with it being during the February Sweep and all.

I do know for a certainty that SOAPnet wasn't around when I was a regular GH viewer, so I'm sure that I couldn't tell you what they do for Valentine's Day. Oh wait, yes I can! I know for an absolute certainty at least part of SOAPnet's plans for the big day.

SOAPnet is running, as a part of their "Sugar-Free Valentine's" their "Best Worst Date Contest." If you enter it you could win a "Virtual Boyfriend" for a year. Seriously. You tell them about the worst date you've ever had and they hook you up with this Virtual Boyfriend who sends you nice messages, jewelry, gift cards, flowers, that sort of thing.

Now, they asked me to help promote this contest, and you know what I said to them? I said to them "I don't need a boyfriend, what's in this contest for me? What can I win?" Well, they did something better than offering me a prize, they offered me a prize to offer to you.

In support of SOAPnet's Best Worst Date Contest we're going to be giving away to one lucky winner a Product Red iPod Nano and a SOAPnet/ABC Hot Guys Calendar. That's right, and it's awesome. But, it gets even awesomer. Two runners-up will each win one of the aforementioned SOAPnet/ABC Hot Guys Calendars too!

Now, our rules (these and the ones on the entry form):

  • Fill out the entry form.
  • Entries must be received by February 28, 2009.
  • The winner will be drawn on or after March 1, 2009.
  • The winner will be notified by e-mail and in the comments section below.
  • You must be a U.S. resident to enter.
