Kevin Federline, aka K-Fed, aka Mr. Britney Spears, will release his debut album in August, according to an Associated Press story being run on Yahoo.
A statement from Federline is quoted in this article:
“The inspiration and meaning behind the title, Playing With Fire, is self-explanatory… I’m excited about this album and am looking forward to continuing my promotional club tour in support of it and seeing the firsthand reaction of my fans listening to my songs for the first time. My album is sure to set the dance floors across the world on fire!”
K-Fed’s musical genre of choice is in the hip-hop/dance/rap category. A single from the album “PopoZao” was leaked earlier this year and the response was overwhelming. Overwhelmingly bad. Well, bad if you are K-Fed. There is a certain industry philosophy there is no such thing as bad publicity. The reaction to “PopoZao” might cause those execs to rethink that position.
Federline unloads on the Paparazzi in the aforementioned “PopoZao” referring to them as “Pavarottis.” It is not known whether Federline is a genius working on a level above us all and found a connective tissue between Italian opera stars and tabloid photographers or if he is simply dumber than a bag of hammers.
