The Barenaked Ladies have a new album out that Mark Saleski does his usual fine job of reviewing here. The Ladies are also on tour in support of the album and are blogging about it here:
- Mon November 3 ’03 – Notes from the field.

My day off in Grand Rapids has not been so grand… neither is it passing rapidly! It was dreary and cold to start with, and that’ll put anybody in a bad mood. I was looking forward to working out, and spied the gym through the glass elevator on my way to my room. I checked email, puttered around in my room for a few minutes, while the buses left the hotel to go park somewhere (no parking downtown I guess). I checked local movie times, and thought I might go see Intolerable Cruelty in the afternoon. I wasted time just long enough to realize my workout gear was on the bus driving away… sux. I called JP (bus driver extraordinaire), and managed to catch him parking the bus. Thankfully he brought my gear back to the hotel with him. I had a great workout, and a super hot excellent steam room sit. In fact I may go again tonight… not sure how late it’s open though….
Quotidian, one might say, but interesting nonetheless.
- You know what? It doesn’t, in any way, suck to be me… I’ve just had a boring day that’s all. I’ve had a productive day of catching up on some email, and installing Panther on my Powerbook (a B-Day present from Steve!… the OS not the PB).
Didn’t the Panthers just fire their coach?
A bloggy word of advice, fellas: post more often and people will come back more often to check out what you have been up to. Once a week is an eternity in blog-time.
