WWE ‘Monday Night Raw’ Results: October 7, 2013

This week’s Monday Night Raw aired live on October 7 from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was the 1063rd weekly episode. The show followed up the other night’s (October 6) Battleground pay-per-view event. In the opening segment, Stephanie McMahon slapped The Big Show in the ring because of his actions at the Battleground’s main event match. Later, she fired him.

Match #1
Dolph Ziggler Vs Damien Sandow
Result: Ziggler won the match by pinfall, hitting Sandow with the Famouser.

Natalya locks Alicia in a Sharpshooter

Match #2
Natalya, Eva Marie and JoJo Vs Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, and Aksana
Result: Natalya locked Alicia in the Sharpshooter, forcing her to submit, thus winning the match for her team by submission.

Match #3
Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal (with Heath Slater) Vs Los Matadores (Primo and Epico) (with El Torito)
Result: Los Matadores attacked McIntyre with a Double Wrist-Lock Samoan Drop, then won for his team via a three-count.

Match #4
Ryback and Curtis Axel (with Paul Heyman) Vs CM Punk and R-Truth
Result: Truth delivered a Corkscrew Scissors Kick to Axel and covered him for a three-count, thus winning the match for his team.

Match #5
Randy Orton Vs Kofi Kingston
Result: Orton won the match via pinfall, striking Kingston with an RKO.

Match #6
Alberto Del Rio Vs Ricardo Rodriguez
Result: Before the match commenced, Vickie Guerrero came out and announced that Del Rio will defend the Heavyweight Championship at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event against John Cena. Taking advantage of the distraction, Rodriguez quickly rolled up Del Rio to secure a pinfall victory.
Later on, Del Rio locked his former announcer in a Cross ArmBreaker with his arm locked in the steel chair.

Match #7
Fandango (with Summer Rae) Vs Zack Ryder
Result: Fandango attacked Ryder with a leg drop from the top rope, then a three-count.

Later in the show, the result of a poll that was conducted to determine the guest referee for the Orton Vs Bryan match at the Hell in a Cell PPV was that Shawn Michaels emerged as the winner, defeating Booker T and Bob Backlund.

The Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger) (with Zeb Colter) Vs The Great Khali and Santino Marella (with Hornswoggle)
Result: Cesaro repeated the other night’s (Battleground PPV) sequence and took Khali for another Big Swing, winning the match for his team by pinfall.

Match #9
Daniel Bryan, Goldust and Cody Rhodes Vs The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns)
Result: Bryan caught Rollins in the Yes Lock, But Ambrose grabbed the steel chair, resulting in the referee calling off the match due to disqualification. But Triple H came out and ordered the match to be resumed with no disqualification rules.

As the match resumed, Orton came out of nowhere and attacked Bryan outside the ring with an RKO. He then threw Bryan back in the ring. Rollins covered Bryan and sealed an easy win for his team. Later, when The Shield were busy taking out Goldust and Cody, Big Show, who was earlier humiliated and fired, came out. Triple H then quickly covered himself behind The Shield. Big Show then took out The Shield and then knocked out Triple H with a powerful punch. Bryan got back in the ring and chanted “Yes! Yes! Yes!” as the show faded out.

Next week’s Monday Night Raw episode will be held at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
