WWE Hell in a Cell Results: October 27, 2013

The fifth edition of Hell in a Cell came live from American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. It was the 10th pay-per-view of the 2013 PPV lineup. The event featured the return of John Cena, who was previously out due to a shoulder injury. Cena faced Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Hell in a Cell Kickoff/Dark Match
Damien Sandow Vs Kofi Kingston
(Singles Match)
Result: Sandow won the match by three-count, attacking Kingston with his finishing move, Full Welcome Nelson Slam.

Match #1
Cody Rhodes and Goldust Vs The Shield (Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins) Vs The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)
(Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship)
Result: Rhodes won the match and retained the Tag Team title for his team by pinfall after he hit Rollins with a Cross Rhodes move.

Kane Returns

The Miz was out there in a ring to challenge Bray Wyatt, but instead, Bray sent his men, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper to take out The Miz. But then Kane returned and took out the Wyatt family. The Red Monster then chokeslammed The Miz.

Match #2
Fandango and Summer Rae Vs The Great Khali and Natalya (with Hornswoggle)
(Mixed Tag Team Match)
Result: Rae locked Natalya in a quick roll-up to secure the victory for Team Fandango.

Match #3
Big E Langston Vs Dean Ambrose
(Singles Match for the WWE United States Championship)
Result: Langston defeated Dean Ambrose by count out, but still failed to win the title. Earlier, Langston delivered a powerful spear to Ambrose to take him out of the ring. It was seen clearly that both superstars suffered serious injuries and were bleeding.

Match #4
Ryback and Paul Heyman Vs CM Punk

(Handicap Hell in a Cell Match)
Result: Punk won the match by pinfall following his finishing move, GTS. Before the match commenced, Heyman had brought a lift into the ring which helped him to climb on top of the cell. After Punk defeated Ryback, he climbed the ring and thrashed Heyman with a kendo stick. Later he delivered the GTS to Heyman on the steel cell.

Match #5
The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro) (with Zeb Colter) Vs Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando) (with El Torito)
(Tag Team Match)
Result: Cesaro once again displayed his massive power and strength by swinging Diego for 31 (JBL Counted) times in the giant swing, but he failed to win the match for The Real Americans. A Double Face Buster led Los Matadores to the victory path.

Match #6
John Cena Vs Alberto Del Rio
(Singles Match for the World Heavyweight Championship)
Result: Cena crowned himself as the thee-time World Heavyweight Champion, hitting Del Rio with the Attitude Adjustment, then a three-count.

Match #7
AJ Lee (with Tamina Snuka) Vs Brie Bella (with Nikki Bella)
(Singles Match for the WWE Divas Championship)
Result: Lee retained the championship title by applying the Black Widow on Brie, forcing her to submit. Thus, she won the match by submission.

Match #8
Randy Orton Vs Daniel Bryan
(Hell in a Cell Match for the vacant WWE Championship with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee)
Result: Bryan had locked the Yes Lock on Orton, but he managed to escape and in process bumped with Michaels. Bryan then hit a running knee on Orton, but with the referee down, there was no one to cover. Triple H then arrived and entered the cell. He was checking if Michaels was alright, but in the process ended up as a victim to Bryan’s running knee. Bryan then had set up the running knee on Orton but Michaels shocked the fans by delivering the Sweet Chin Musing to Bryan. Michaels then counted three as Orton covered Bryan. The show ended with Orton and Triple H celebrating the victory.

Survivor Series, the upcoming WWE PPV is scheduled to be held on November 24, 2013 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. It is one of the flagship events of WWE alongside WrestleMania, SummerSlam and the Royal Rumble. WWE fans may buy Survivor Series 2013 tickets now.
