The Sound Of Pop

My name is Hugh McPherson and I am the proud owner of The Sound of Pop music blog. The Sound of Pop was created to express my love of music. I am huge fan of the established greats but also a lover of the new and undiscovered talent.

I believe that just because a song may not get radio play or just because an artist may not have a lucrative record deal does not mean the talent is not there. I use The Sound of Pop to expose these great talents because good music should be shared.

"Where Words Fail Music Speaks" it is a saying I believe 100%. Sometimes I find a song that just reaches down into my soul with a simple lyric and I feel like I have no other way to express myself than with this song. When I find those songs whether it is from a pop icon or an indie artist I shout it to the top of my lungs "LISTEN TO THIS SONG!!".
