Years ago when I received Christ as my Lord and Savior I had an older person in the faith tell me that I shouldn't worry too much about my zealousness because eventually it would wear off and I would become normal again. And as I got older in my faith and learned the precepts of Scripture, attended church on a regular basis, learned the hymns and praise songs, took communion, got baptized, lifted my hands, fed the homeless and just engaged in Christian activity, eventually I became spiritually dry.
