Sharmila is an ex-university professor, ex-PhD student, current writer, who started writing professionally at 12, becoming a full fledged reporter at 16, and moved exclusively into entertainment reporting 2 years later in 2003. For 6 years, Sharmila was teaching at universities and tertiary institutions, and writing as a freelance entertainment reporter for a myriad of publications. These days, Sharmila's focus is on writing articles & screenplays, and making films.
