I am a film critic and blogger, and have been so since late 2007, going from starting my own movie review website, Movie World (which is still running), and then moving on to writing for various movie blogs.
In November 2008 I started writing for Screen Rant, a movie and TV news site that aims to bring a down to earth perspective on the action/sci-fi/blockbuster side of the movies. I now write for the renowned TwitchFilm.net, which focuses on foreign, arthouse, independent and cult cinema. I also write for Row Three, a website which is "about more than $200 million productions."
I have a varied taste in movies from big budget action flicks to foreign and art house fare. Some of my favourite movies include Pulp Fiction, The Big Lebowski, Rear Window, Oldboy, Psycho and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Some of my favourite directors include Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick and the Coen brothers.
I'm just a film fan expressing my opinion.

There's something oddly old-fashioned about the film, and that has nothing to do with the period '50s setting.
The comparisons to 300 and Clash of the Titans are inevitable - but does Immortals stand alone?
