I am a film critic and blogger, and have been so for almost three years now, going from starting my own movie review website, Movie World (which is still running), and then moving on to writing for various movie blogs.
In November 2008 I started writing for Screen Rant, a movie and TV news site that aims to bring a down to earth perspective on the action/sci-fi/blockbuster side of the movies. I currently write daily for the site.
I have a varied taste in movies from big budget action flicks to foreign and art house fare. Some of my favourite movies include Pulp Fiction, The Big Lebowski, Rear Window, Oldboy, Psycho and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Some of my favourite directors include Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick and the Coen brothers.
I'm just a film fan expressing my opinion.

Movie Review: Inglourious Basterds
Filled with iconic characters, brilliant performances, superb dialogue, expertly chosen music, and just the right amount of blood and carnage.

G.I. Joe is a fine example of what a silly big blockbuster should be.

A devastating motion picture that stands as a masterful example of how this type of drama should be done.

Movie Review: The Taking of Pelham 123
Overall it's the well judged, thankfully full-speed pace that makes The Taking of Pelham 123 enjoyable.

Movie Review: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Never is it a boring watch, and it's always a compelling one.
Is Bruno funnier and more shocking than Borat? More shocking? Absolutely. Funnier? Absolutely not.

Movie Review: Year One (2009)
Uninspired, lazy comedy filmmaking that makes a waste of its bucket loads of comedic acting talent.

Movie Review: Public Enemies
A competent, compelling accomplishment that rings true and feels real from start to finish.
