I am a film critic and blogger, and have been so for almost three years now, going from starting my own movie review website, Movie World (which is still running), and then moving on to writing for various movie blogs.
In November 2008 I started writing for Screen Rant, a movie and TV news site that aims to bring a down to earth perspective on the action/sci-fi/blockbuster side of the movies. I currently write daily for the site.
I have a varied taste in movies from big budget action flicks to foreign and art house fare. Some of my favourite movies include Pulp Fiction, The Big Lebowski, Rear Window, Oldboy, Psycho and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Some of my favourite directors include Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick and the Coen brothers.
I'm just a film fan expressing my opinion.

Movie Review: Up
For what it's supposed to be, Up is just about as good this sort of thing gets.

Movie Review: Zombieland
As an over-the-top and quite silly comedy/horror flick, it's a real blast.

Movie Review: Surrogates
Take out the futuristic elements, and you've got a generic police investigation story that we've seen tons of times before.

Movie Review: Gamer
With all the potential Gamer had, it's disappointing to find that it's never able to deliver on it.

Movie Review: Whiteout
I expect audiences will come out of Whiteout complaining about what they didn't get as much as what they did get.

Movie Review: District 9
An equal mix of extremely enjoyable action and intelligence to satisfy a wide range of audiences.

Refreshing, charming and original.

Movie Review: Mesrine: Killer Instinct
No crime classic, but certainly an entertaining modern entry into the genre.

Movie Review: Inglourious Basterds
Filled with iconic characters, brilliant performances, superb dialogue, expertly chosen music, and just the right amount of blood and carnage.

Movie Review: A Perfect Getaway
Falls short of the sort of level it could have achieved.
