An Air Force brat who traveled widely. My ideals were formed during the Vietnam War and by the assassinations of JFK, RFK and Martin Luther King. I worked for Bobbie in several states and attended his funeral. I got into journalism 40 years ago first working on the Colorado Daily at Boulder. Since then I have worked for a Montana newspaper, UPI and AP, the latter for 36 years. I reported in 30 countries and 11 states often in very dangerous areas. Even America wasn't safe from trauma _ Columbine. Now I have a disability, PTSD, and write for therapy.
