As a natural maverick who hates taking orders I wonder how I survived in conventional work for 31 years … where did I go wrong? I was a journalist for more than 20 years before leaving full-time writing to help my husband to open a bargain books business. Later, I worked as a secretary - latterly as a ‘temp’ - anywhere between Bolton, Lancashire and Manchester city centre. After illness I opened "Woodperfect”, trading on a name which invariably produces a comment while making a pun on the software package. I offer a full range of virtual business services while utilising my writing and general creative skills and so offer customers much more than the norm.
My interests include Judaism, Israel, writing, reading, film, food, ... really far too much to list. Hey, you out there ... are you still awake ...?
