Ms. Strega is the name-cloak surrounding Joan McMillan. She is the author of a memoir of her Italian-American family, The Strega's Story. She has numerous poems published in such magazines as Poetry, ONTHEBUS, Saranac Review, Chattahoochee Review, Oyez Review, and Quarry West. She is the mother of four marvelous children, now blooming into their adult lives, and grandmother to a most precious granddaughter. Life is a magnificent journey and an ever-shifting maze; nwriting is the thread through the labyrinth to the very heart of what we need to know.
