Since the Wright brothers took off at KittyHawk in 1903, plane manufacture has been a fast and furious business. Constant research and development led to the monoplane, the jet engine and eventually the low-cost passenger transport.
I am a usability expert, so my choice of medium is governed by what is most usable for a given communications goal and not by what is most in fashon at the time.
