Maureen O'Danu

I am a writer, foodie, gardener, yarn tangler, licensed clinical social worker, and married middle aged feminist who is the mother of sons. I live in the Kansas City metropolitan area and frequently talk about what's going on here that's cheap and fun, as well as writing about the experience of living a life full of life as a feminist, a woman, and a human being.

At Am I the Only One Dancing? I write book, movie and television reviews, anecdotes about living life, posts about food and gardening, crafting and relationships.

Over at Walking Upstream I talk about progressive and feminist issues, and political and economic philosophy.

I am not infrequently accompanied in my writing by my id, a fourteen year old boy named Fred.
